Draft — pending legal/counsel review before launch. Not legal advice.

This policy describes how gtme.business collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website and product. It is a working draft and will be finalized with legal review before launch.

Data we collect

  • Account data — when you sign up, we collect your name and email address (via Google sign-in or email registration).
  • Usage data — if you accept analytics, we collect anonymized usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, performance) via PostHog. IP addresses are anonymized and not stored in raw form.
  • Payment data — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe handles them under their own terms.
  • Search and export data — the categories and locations you search, and the business records you export, are processed to deliver the service.

How we use it

  • To provide, operate, and improve the product.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription and credits.
  • To communicate with you about your account (e.g. password resets, receipts).
  • To understand and improve how the site and product are used (analytics, with consent).

Service providers we share data with

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Supabase — database hosting (including leads you choose to sync).
  • PostHog — privacy-respecting analytics (only after consent).
  • Google — sign-in (OAuth).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and analytics data per the retention settings of our analytics provider. Exported and synced data is under your control.
